La Cañada Vieja is a beautifully restored and converted farm complex. The main building has been converted into a large dining room, quiet lounge, TV room and 2 large multi use rooms, one with Table Tennis.

In the adjacent building the old farm labourers rooms have been converted into group accommodation with most rooms having 4 beds, the rooms are not huge but are spotlessly clean and comfortable with good ventilation and fly screens so that you can get a great nights sleep. There are 3 bathrooms, 2 are separate and the 3rd is communal with 3 wc's, 3 shower cubicles and a fruther 3 wash basins.

Accommodation at La Cañada Vieja is on a half board basis. Breakfast is typically continental style consisting of Tea, Coffee, Mike, Fresh Bread, Cereals, Yoghurts, Cold Meats and Cheese.

A typical evening meal is of three courses, starters of Soup or Salad. Main courses of Grilled Meat or Fish with potatoes and vegetables or salad, Pasta Dishes or Paella. Vegeterians can also be catered for by prior arangement. Each week one evening will be BBQ night where you can enjoy freshly BBQ'ed meat and veg. Evening meals are served with water and local wine.

Tea and Coffee are freely available through the day.

Towels are provided and are changed half way through the week.

The Hotel Playa Sur is a three star beach front hotel located in the town of El Medano. It offers a great place to stay within seconds of the El Medano beach and only a minute or two stroll to the sea front restaurants and the wooden boardwalk promenade which is a beautiful place to spend the evening watching the world go by.Hotel Playa Sur

The rooms here have either a sea or mountain view and single rooms are available for a suppliment. Although the hotel offers both bed and breakfast and half board options, we generally recommend staying only bed and breakfast as the local restaurants offer a wide range of great food at very reasonable prices. The Hotel Rural Cuatro Esquinas is located in the town of San Miguel de Abona here in the South of Tenerife. San miguel is situated at a height of around 600m above sea level, so offers slightly cooler temperatures at the height of summer.Hotel Rural Cuatro Esquinas

A recently converted traditional house, based around a beautiful courtyard, the Cuatro Esquinas has 7 double / twin rooms, each with an ensuite bathroom complete with hydromassage showers. The hotel has a small quiet bar, serviing a range of local and international beers and wines. Enjoy a relaxing drink here or in the adjoining courtyard. There is also a tasca which serves a full range of traditional canarian quisine and is also where breakfast is served each morning. The Cuatro Esquinas is a perfect relaxing destination away from the hussle and bustle of the busy coastal resorts where you can chill out and recharge your batteries after a dusty day of mountain biking.

Casa Esmeralda is a recently completed conversion of a large hillside house.

Casa EsmeraldaCurrently the house consits of 4 double guest rooms and 2 house bathrooms, all furnished to a high standard. Each room is designed around a theme, currently the Stone Room, the White Room and the Wood Room.

The house also has several quiet spots dotted around to give you space to relax and take in the panoramic views over the town of San Isidro and out to the sea. There is free WiFi and a house computer, pool table and rooftop chill out area where you can enjoy an evening BBQ or just a few relaxing evening drinks whilst watching the sunset.BBQ on the Roof Terrace

The house has a secure garage where you can keep your mountain bikes although it is also generally possible to keep your bikes in the walled and secure terrace area.

Villa Las Dunas is a small, modern guesthouse run by Nigel and Jill. Located in the coastal area of El Medano in the south of Tenerife. The Villa is located on the coast around 20 minutes walk from the town centre of El Medano. El Medano is a lively, friendly town which boasts lots of bars and restaurants all on the sea front or around the town square. The beach in El Medano is said to be the longest in Tenerife at 2km, the water is shallow and ideal for families and sun seekers. El Medano is typically canarian and quite unlike some of the resorts you would normally associate with Tenerife. The villa also has secure bike storage and some workshop facilities. A good bike shop for spares or repairs is only a 10 minute walk away.

Casa Vera de La Hoya is a delightful 18th century traditional stone built finca. It was refurbished and converted into what is known as a Casa Rural back in 2006.Casa Vera de La Hoya

Set on the hillside at 500m above sea level, with a stunning view over the south coast of Tenerife, this guest house is the perfect place to unwind and relax whilst being surrounded by nature. The casa has a number of double or twin guest rooms, all eligantly decorated and with ensuite bathrooms. Self Catering Apartments - Los Cristianos

Los Cristianos is now a bustling tourist town with all the benefits of such a destination. Great beaches, plenty of good bars and restaurants and great transport links to the rest of the island. If you plan to combine your mountain biking holiday with a bit of nightlife, then Los Cristianos could be right for you.

We use a range of apartments mainly based in the popular El Mirador and Cristian Sur complexes.

El Mirador Pool Area

El Mirador is a quieter complex with 2 quiet pool areas. It offers a great space in which to relax, but is only a couple of minutes walk away from some very popular bars and restaurants.

The El Mirador apartments have a good sized lounge with american style kitchen and breakfast bar. TV's in this complex have a range of UK TV channels should you decide to spend an evening in. There is one bedroom with either a large double or twin single beds and a large bathroom with WC, Bidet and Shower (No Bath). The complex is only around 6 or 7 years old, so everything is generally in condition.

Cristian Sur Pool AreaCristian Sur is an older complex and is used by some of the big travel companies. It is a popular base for many families and as such the pool areas can be busier, especially at school holiday times. Clients staying in the Cristian Sur complex have the benefit of being able to use the heated swimming pool in the sister Tenerife Sur hotel just over the road. Great if visiting over the winter when the water can be a little chilly in non heated pools.
